One question that may come up for people on the website is why exactly nature makes such a good context for mentoring and what we can expect as a result of participating in a conversational process centered around the natural world.
On the surface it may seem like we’re simply learning about birds, trees, and wildlife in a sensory-based way and this would be true, but on a deeper level there are also some other more profound implications that come as a result of investing time and energy into understanding the patterns of nature.
As we begin to understand and learn about nature in a sensory-based way, there are many positive effects on our personality and the ways in which we carry ourselves through life.
Such as…
- The Cultivation of Empathy
- Enhanced Sensory Acuity
- Environmental Sensitivity
- A Greater Sense of Connectedness and Meaning in Life
- Awakening of the Scientific Mind
These are all very practical life skills/abilities that have implications for each individual’s journey through life and it’s usually pretty easy for people to see the tremendous benefits that nature can have on our lives.
But the challenge comes up when people approach the learning process in a haphazard way, or without really knowing the steps/goals of coming into a deeper awareness in nature.
For many people who are new to this way of learning, it can be an elusive, frustrating, and time consuming task.
My role as a mentor therefore is to shine light on your blind spots and help you move more and more into embodying a new kind of natural intelligence that will serve you in all aspects of life.
I do this by helping you…
- Set & reach your goals
- Gain clarity about your learning process
- Experience step-by-step support & guidance
- Honor your personal growth as a human being
It’s the accumulated impact of high quality time in nature coupled with deep listening, questioning & reflection that produces this transformation as a natural evolution of your ongoing learning process.
If this is exciting for you then I encourage you to join my newsletter and stay in touch for future learning opportunities.
